Phar Lap Limited Edition Painting

What a wonderful piece.

This is a canvas reproduction of Stuart Reid's famous painting of Phar Lap that hangs at Moonee Valley.

This piece was a limited edition of 500 to mark the 50th Anniversary of Phar Lap's death back in the early 80's.

Numbered 27 these were very expensive at the time to buy and this is the only one I have seen.  

Measures some 75cm by 63cm and is exquisitely framed...Lovely
